Kirsty held the torch under her chin in the dark room, casting an eerie glow over her face for added effect whilst she told a ghost story to a terrified Anna Banana, Taylor and Jess.
“And then...” said Kirsty pausing and looking side to side in the awesomely over-dramatic way that she did so many things, “Then he went to the box and saw the most horrible thing he could imagine. It was empty! Someone had used the last tissue, and there was nothing he could use to wipe his runny nose.”
Anna Banana screamed. “What happened next? What happened next?”
Kirsty’s face portrayed a look of extreme sadness. “What do you think? It was the inevitable... His nose...dripped.”
Jess began to cry. “It’s...just...so sad!” she sobbed.
Taylor nodded. “We should start a charity for things like this,” she said.
Kirsty nodded and glanced over her shoulder to the window. She saw something move quickly, almost like there had been someone there. She moved over to the window and opened it. “Hello?” she said. There was nothing and then suddenly a boy about her age appeared. He was flying. He came into Kirsty’s room. “Excuse me, what were you doing?” Kirsty asked him.
“I... I was listening to your stories,” he admitted. “I just really like them. You see where I live there aren’t any women to tell us stories―OW!”
Kirsty had hit him with a...well, something heavy. “Don’t be sexist,” she scowled.
“Sorry. But anyway, where I live, no-one can tell us stories, so I come here to hear yours and then I fly back home and tell the rest of the lost boys,” he explained.
“You fly home?” Jess asked.
“Yeah,” he said. “It’s easy; you just need a little pixie dust.” His fairy, Tinkerbell, magically appeared and sprinkled pixie dust on them. Before long they had all flown back to his home. It was in Neverland. A wonderful place, Kirsty had heard excellent reviews for it. The boy’s name was Peter and he had ran away when he was little and lived in Neverland with Tinkerbell and the rest of the lost boys ever since.
The first few days in Neverland were fun, they went canoeing, hunting, hide-and-seeking, and flying some more.
One day, Kirsty saw a big ship docked in by the bay. “Whose ship is that?” she asked Peter.
“That’s Captain Hook’s,” he said. “He’s an evil pirate with one hand.”
“Only one hand?” Anna Banana enquired.
“Yeah, I chopped off his other hand and fed it to a crocodile,” Peter explained. “OW!”
Taylor had hit him over the back of the head. “You shouldn’t chop people’s hands off and feed them to crocodiles. It’s rude.”
Kirsty brought the attention back to the important thing. “There are pirates here?!” she said excitedly.
“Yes,” said Peter patiently.
“Oh my God! Can we go see them? Please, please, please?” Kirsty begged.
The others agreed grudgingly and together they went to go see the pirates. They flew over and landed on the deck within moments.
“Ahoy there!” said Kirsty, who had somehow got hold of an eye patch, bandana, wooden leg and a parrot. “What be you doing on this ship?”
Taylor leaned forward and whispered to Kirsty. “Dude, why are you talking like that, its weird...”
Kirsty looked at Taylor, puzzled. “What be you talking about, woman?”
At that moment Kirsty came up behind Taylor, dressed normally. “Oh my gosh, this ship is awesome, I just helped that pirate hoist the anchor, his hands are on backwards you see, and―” Kirsty stopped talking, noticing the pirate Taylor had been talking to. “Wow,” Kirsty walked closer to the pirate Kirsty. “You look just like me!”
“Arr, you mean you be lookin’ just like me-self,” the pirate Kirsty answered.
‘What’s your name?” Jess asked the pirate Kirsty.
“Arr, me name be Kirsty,” the pirate Kirsty responded.
“Creepy,” said Anna Banana.
They kept chatting to the pirate Kirsty, and other pirates gradually came over until they were talking to the entire crew. Even Captain Hook. Peter tried to chop off Captain Hook’s other hand but Taylor pushed Peter overboard into the crocodile and shark infested waters below.
“I got your back, Hook,” she told a surprised Captain Hook.
He was so grateful for her getting rid of his arch-enemy that he invited them to stay on the ship and become pirates themselves. “You certainly have the blatant disregard for others’ lives thing down,” he told Taylor. Taylor blushed.
“Look, we’d love to stay, and being a pirate would be epic, but we have to go back home before this pixie dust wears off,” Kirsty said. Captain Hook and the rest of his crew understood and waved them goodbye. When Kirsty & Co. arrived back home they all went to bed, tired but satisfied from the day they had had in Neverland.
THE END
Stay tuned for more AWESOME adventures of Kirsty & Co.
How The AWESOMENESS Came To Be...
The AWESOME Adventures of Kirsty & Co. all began one boring science lesson, with spare time on the computers. The AWESOME Kirsty then decided to record all her adventures with her sidekicks, also known as Co. , also known as Anna Banana, Taylor and Jess.
And yes, that's right you did read that Kirsty recorded her adventures, because all the things you read are true. Kirsty & Co. HAVE been to Hogwarts, Forks, outer-space in the Star Wars times, and even back in time. And that's only naming a few.
Enjoy.
